My dad was fired over a year ago and has submitted hundreds of applications, but still can’t find work. My mom works 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and makes around $90,000 a year. We can’t afford medical/dental insurance. We have almost been kicked out of our home. We can’t pay our bills. I don’t qualify for any financial aid because of my moms income. To keep our home my parents have to keep taking out loans against my moms retirement fund. First, sweetheart, the top 1% is very few people. Second, the IRS doesn’t “think,” it looks at your W2. If you’re being taxed like the top 1%, you’re rich and need to shut up. Maybe instead you should just tell the truth. There are families surviving on $30,000 a year and if you guys have no major health problems and can’t live on $90,000 a year, you’re idiots. I’m sorry to be blunt, but you are wasting money somewhere.
